Otterburn Gym reopening

We are pleased to announce that the Otterburn Gym will be open again from Thursday 3rd December. All existing gym members should receive an email from Martin Chilvers with the necessary instructions for accessing the gym. The rules for using the gym are the same as those put in place in October and all gym sessions must be booked in advance on the gym website:  https://www.otterburngym.co.uk/

We are hoping to open up the gym to new members soon so please keep your eyes open for further updates.

Unfortunately, under tier 3 restrictions exercise classes will not be allowed to restart for the time being.

Pumpkin Decorating for Halloween

Why not bring the family along for a fun pumpkin decorating workshop to be held at the RTC on Friday 30th October at 11:30. Just bring along your standard sized pumpkin which has been ready scooped out. All other flowers, foliage and spooky decorations will be provided. Cost is £10 per pumpkin arrangement. Booking essential in family group or social bubble. Exercise Classes at RTC

We are now in a position to start offering exercise classes again at RTC, Initially there will be two classes per week which will be led by Gill Chilvers. A mixed ability class will take place on Wednesday evenings at 7pm and will feature a warm up to music, a series of exercises for exercising and toning the whole body, followed by cool down and gentle stretches. The class on Monday mornings at 10am is a low impact class following a similar pattern.

Numbers are limited to 8 per session and each participant will be allocated a specific area in which to exercise to ensure social distancing. This means that you must book a place in advance each week. The cost for each session is £5, with all proceeds going direct to RTC. If you wish to book a space, please contact Gill Chilvers on gill.chilvers@hotmail.co.uk.

Netball Suspended at RTC

Following the advice from England Netball around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) , the organisers at Otterburn Netball have taken the decision to cancel the netball sessions at the RTC until further notice.

Other activities continue as usual for the time being. However, the situation is constantly changing and we will advise of changes as they occur.

Otterburn Gym remains open.
