The RTC (Rede Tyne and Coquet) Sports & Leisure centre is located on the edge of Otterburn Village and offers some great facilities to the local communities in the Rede, North Tyne and Coquet valleys.
The building contains a sports hall, changing facilities with showers, a fully equipped gym and a social area. Outside is a sports field with football pitch.

Otterburn Gym: Current members will be notified by email with details of the new procedures that will need to be followed, when the time to reopen is reached. As numbers will have to be limited and a booking system is being introduced.
North Tyne Youth: We are working towards being able to welcome Otterburn youth groups back to the RTC just after the schools reopen in September. Meanwhile Zoom meetings will continue, Please see the NTY Facebook page for more details.: https://www.facebook.com/northtyneyouth.
In the meantime, please feel free to use the field for outdoor exercise, following social distancing guidelines. Families are encouraged to use the outdoor tables, but the Trustees ask that you kindly take any litter home with you. Just as a reminder, and as most people are aware, there are no dogs allowed on the playing fields or premises of the RTC.
We hope that all our users, friends and families are managing to stay fit and well and we look forward to welcoming people back to the centre soon.
