The RTC (Rede Tyne and Coquet) Sports & Leisure centre is located on the edge of Otterburn Village and offers some great facilities to the local communities in the Rede, North Tyne and Coquet valleys.

The building contains a sports hall, changing facilities with showers, a fully equipped gym and a social area. Outside is a sports field with football pitch.

The RTC is the home of a number of activities:

North Tyne Youth – Tuesday evenings £1 per session more info

Juniors age (9 to 13 years) – 6.00 to 7.30pm

Teen Group (13 to 19 years) – 8.00 to 9.30pm

Mondays       

Active Life Low Impact Circuits (adults) – 10am to 11am £3.40 per session more info

Mini Football –  6.30pm to 7.30pm for 4-8 year olds

Tuesdays 

Health Walks – Free and Friendly Health Walk Fortnightly on Tuesdays at 10.00am  more info

Wednesdays

Buggy Beat (adults with buggies / pushchairs) – 10am 24 April to 29 May 2019 inclusive.  £5 per session or £25 up front for 6 week block more info

Wednesday ‘Drop-in and play’ – from 11am to 4.30pm – courts available to play badminton, table tennis or short tennis (trial run 24 April to 12 June 2019 excluding 8 May)  £2 per court per hour more info

Midweek Dance Madness – 8pm to 9pm 24April to 29 May 2019 inclusive.  £3 per session more info

Gym – Our gym is available for members to use 24 hours a day seven days a week and offers a mix of CV equipment as well as fixed and free weights.  Membership costs just £12.50 per month or £125 for 12 months up front.  Sign up online at https://www.otterburngym.co.uk

    Just wondering if you send me a little info on the gym facilities.
    I’m a chef at le petit chateau and just wanna get in shape again. I’ll be mostly using the equipment on an evening. Any info you could give me would be great.
