The RTC (Rede Tyne and Coquet) Sports & Leisure centre is located on the edge of Otterburn Village and offers some great facilities to the local communities in the Rede, North Tyne and Coquet valleys.

The building contains a sports hall, changing facilities with showers, a fully equipped gym and a social area. Outside is a sports field with football pitch.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

In line with the Government restrictions The RTC Sports Hall and Otterburn Gym are now closed and all the following activities are suspended until further notice.

North Tyne Youth – Tuesday evenings £1 per session more info

Disco Circuits – 7pm to 8pm £5.00 per session. (Starts again April 8th 2020)


Netball – 6:30pm to 7:30pm (Walking Netball); 7:30pm to 8:30pm (Running Netball).  £5.00 per session.  more Info

Gym – Our gym is available for members to use 24 hours a day seven days a week and offers a mix of CV equipment as well as fixed and free weights.  Membership costs just £12.50 per month or £125 for 12 months up front.  Sign up online at https://www.otterburngym.co.uk

    Just wondering if you send me a little info on the gym facilities.
    I’m a chef at le petit chateau and just wanna get in shape again. I’ll be mostly using the equipment on an evening. Any info you could give me would be great.
